Gas Prices Drop to Lowest Amount Since February 2015
The average price has dropped 33 of the past 34 days, decreasing 43.3 cents.

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped Monday to its lowest amount since Feb. 7, 2015, decreasing 1.3 cents to $2.642.
The average price has dropped 33 of the past 34 days, decreasing 43.3 cents, including four-tenths of a cent on Monday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The average price is 9.2 cents less than one week ago, 40.9 cents lower than one month ago and 4.2 cents below what it was one year ago.

The average price decreased for 25 consecutive days, was unchanged Feb. 1 and resumed dropping last Tuesday.
The Orange County average price Monday dropped to its lowest amount since Feb. 6, 2015, decreasing 1.2 cents to $2.627.

The Orange County average price has also dropped 33 of the past 34 days, decreasing 44.2 cents, including four-tenths of a cent on Monday. It is 8.6 cents less than one week ago, 41.8 cents lower than one month ago and 4.2 cents below what it was one year ago.
The Orange County average price decreased for 24 consecutive days, rose two-tenths of a cent Jan. 31, then resumed dropping Feb. 1.
“The price continues to decrease mostly because the price of oil stays low and we haven’t had any major refinery issues in Southern California since before Christmas,” Jeffrey Spring, the Automobile Club of Southern California’s corporate communications manager, told City News Service.
