TELL US: How Will You Remember 9/11?
Tuesday marks the 11-year anniversary of the Sept. 11th attacks, what are you planning to do to remember that day?
Memorial services, prayer vigils and service projects will be held across Southern California Tuesday to mark the 11th anniversary of the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.
Sept. 11, also known as Patriot Day, honors the victims and celebrates the heroic actions of Americans in the aftermath of the attacks. While many locals will attend local Patriot Day ceremonies in Cerritos and Artesia, some will find other ways to remember the victims and heroes of that fateful day 11 years ago.
- "I plan on thanking a police officer for helping keep our city safe." - Jason L., age 7.
- "I'm going to wave to a fireman!" - Alexis, age 6.
- "Every year I visit my church and say a special prayer for the families who lost their loved ones." - Virginia Mann
So how will you be remembering 9/11 this year? Tell us in the comments.
