Memorial services, prayer vigils and service projects will be held across Southern California Tuesday to mark the 11th anniversary of the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001. Sept. 11, also known as Patriot Day, honors the victims and celebrates the heroic actions of Americans in the aftermath of the attacks.
