Ex-Chico Mayor Suspected Of DUI

Mary Flynn has been arrested again.

CHICO, CA -- Mary Flynn, who served on the Chico City Council for eight years, including as mayor, was arrested last weekend for allegedly driving under the influence. A report by Action News Now said the arrest was made around 4:30 p.m. Dec. 3 in the Safeway parking lot on Mangrove Avenue.

But it isn't the first time the 61-year-old has been behind bars.

The news station reported, "She was arrested while serving on the city council in 2008, after her car hit the Great Harvest Bread Company building on Forest Avenue. Flynn was found to be under the influence of prescription drugs, and over the counter cold medicine and cough syrup."
