Fast Food Goes Green In Citrus Heights
New restaurant was built with green technology and will employ 110.
A McDonald’s restaurant reopening in Citrus Heights on Saturday boasts a slew of green technology features.
The Sacramento Bee is reporting that the McDonald’s Restaurant located at 7632 Sunrise Blvd. replaces an older McDonald’s store.
According to the Bee the new building includes such environmentally friendly features as LED lighting and a sprinkler system that stays off when it’s raining.

The Bella Vista High School marching band will perform at the opening which begins at 9 a.m. and runs until 3 p.m.
