Residents also reported overflowing creeks, clogged storm drains, and high water at Mariposa Creek Bridge, while the city urged neighbors to keep gutters clear as December rainfall totals climbed.
   

• Coffee Shop Black Sails Closes, Plans to Sail to a New Location (luxcafeclub.com) — A beloved Citrus Heights coffee shop, Black Sails Coffee Lounge, has closed its Marketplace at Birdcage location but says it will reopen elsewhere in town. The owners are selling beans online while the local business improvement district helps them find a larger space, as Rose Nail Lounge prepares to move into their former storefront.
