Thursday, August 8: Grab the kids and head to the Sunrise Mall for Surf and Sand Crafts at 10AM. Become part of the free Sunrise Mall Kids Adventure Club, and participate in awesome activities like make & take crafts, storytelling, sing-a-longs, and so much more! Each Thursday morning from 10am to 11am in Center Court near JCPenney.

Saturday, August 10: Video Gamers Wanted for a great cause! Join in the charity video game tournament at Fuddruckers, Citrus Heights beginning at 6PM. Gamers will compete against each other in Super Smash Brothers Brawl, Ultimate MarvelVs Capcom 3, Street Fighter 4 AE, and Black Ops 2 2v2.

Gaming4acause.org is a non-profit charity group created by Austin Young after being diagnosed and treated for eye cancer. Gaming for a Cause’s mission is to raise money for local charitable causes, while providing a fun and safe way to compete with the use of video game tournaments.

Saturday, August 10: 8PM, Sunrise Market Place Kicks off their Summer Concert with Dave Koz & Friends “Summer Horns Tour” featuring Mindi Abair, Gerald Albright. Click here for the full list of concerts and link to buy tickets.

Saturday, August 10: Sacramento Banana Festival on the Village Green at William Land Park beginning at 9AM with a 5K Run/Walk followed by all day fun. Check out their website for a list of activities!
