• Citrus Heights council eyes tightening rules for mobile food vendors (citrusheightssentinel.com) — Citrus Heights officials are moving toward stricter rules on where and how food trucks can operate, including possible distance limits from brick‑and‑mortar restaurants and restrooms. Council members say they’re responding to complaints about unfair competition and late‑night setups, and have ordered staff to draft an ordinance refining time limits, buffer zones, and use of outdoor seating.
