Pedestrian Struck on Metrolink Riverside Line, Service Restored: Updated
Metrolink Riverside Line was halted after a pedestrian was hit on the tracks between Pomona and Ontario early this morning.

POMONA, CA- The Metrolink Riverside Line was shut down temporarily this morning after a person was struck on the tracks by a Union Pacific train between Pomona and Ontario, according to an alert from Metrolink.
Line 401 was immediately canceled and passengers traveling from Riverside to Union Station in downtown Los Angeles were diverted to Line 701 instead.
Metrolink reopened the tracks around 6:10 a.m. after the collision was cleared.

The incident occurred near the 100 block of W. Commercial Street. No details have been released about the victim.
