The City is working with Southern California Edison to convert approximately 300 Edison-owned streetlights to LED. This project will improve energy-efficiency, reduce energy costs, and provide a consistent look with City-owned LED streetlights. The streetlights are located throughout the City at various locations. Edison has retained the contractor SASCO to complete the work. SASCO will begin its work on Wednesday, March 2. Work is anticipated to take 1-2 weeks. Each LED conversion takes approximately 10-15 minutes to complete, so there are no significant impacts anticipated to residents or traffic. For questions regarding the project, please contact the Community Services Department at (909) 399-5431.
