Pedestrian Killed on I-10 Freeway; Lanes Closed for Hours Overnight
A pedestrian on the I-10 Freeway was struck by multiple vehicles Thursday night.

POMONA, CA — A man was struck and killed while in the westbound lanes of the San Bernardino (10) Freeway in Pomona, authorities said Friday.
The California Highway Patrol began receiving multiple reports of a pedestrian on the freeway near Orange Grove Avenue around 11:10 p.m. Thursday, said CHP Officer Elizabeth Kravig.
Five minutes later, the CHP received more reports that the pedestrian was struck by multiple vehicles and killed, she said.

All westbound lanes were stopped east of Orange Grove Avenue for the investigation, with traffic diverted off at Towne Avenue but were reopened by just after 3:30 a.m.
