Woman Stabbed During Argument, Suspect at Large

A woman was arguing with a man when he "stabbed her in the lower back," Pomona Police said.

POMONA, CA — A 48-year-old woman was stabbed during an argument with a male, police said Wednesday.

The stabbing was reported just after 6:30 p.m. Tuesday near Rancho Valley Road and South White Avenue, according to Lt. Alex Rilloraza of the Pomona Police Department.

The victim told police she was arguing with the suspect when he stabbed her in the lower back with a knife.

Los Angeles County Fire personnel responded to the scene and treated the woman before she was taken to a hospital for a minor stab wound, Rilloraza said.

The suspect fled and a description of him was not immediately available.
