Concord City Hall Offices Closed During Power Outage
"Thank you for your patience as we await having power restored to City Hall buildings at 1950 Parkside Drive."
CONCORD, CA — Concord City Hall offices were closed Wednesday due to a storm-related power outage, the city announced on Facebook.
"Thank you for your patience as we await having power restored to City Hall buildings at 1950 Parkside Drive," the city said. "While our phone lines are down, City staff working remotely are able to access email."
The city noted that its recreation facilities were open Wednesday.

As of 10 a.m. Wednesday, there were 22,965 PG&E customers in Contra Costa County still without power in 129 separate outages that started Tuesday amid an atmospheric river-driven storm that caused many fallen trees and power lines.
At the height of the Contra Costa outages Tuesday, there were more than 72,000 customers impacted in Martinez, Walnut Creek, Concord, Pleasant Hill, Lamorinda and elsewhere. Since then, PG&E has restored service for at least 49,272 Contra Costa customers.

Based on similar storms, it is projected that approximately 80 percent of the original outages will be fixed by end of Wednesday, PG&E said.
