CONCORD, CA — Visit Concord, the city tourism bureau and restaurants on the Concord Taco Trail fanned out after Thanksgiving to spread community love, one stop at a time.

The two organizations delivered tortilla-wrapped thanks to nonprofit staffs and volunteers who did the heavy lifting bringing food to the needy during the Thankgiving holiday, the East Bay Times reported.

“These organizations care for our community year-round, and this is our way of caring for them,” Beth Javens, executive director of Visit Concord, said according to the East Bay Times. “It’s a small gesture that reminds them they’re valued.”
