Concord Shopping Center Police Chase: 4 Arrested In Victoria's Secret High-Value Shoplifting

When officers arrived, the teen suspects fled in different directions.

CONCORD, CA — Concord police chased down and arrested four teens suspected of stealing $3,400 worth of merchandise from Victoria's Secret Tuesday afternoon.

Officers responded to a report of four teens running toward an exit with the merchandise at the Sunvalley Shopping Center, Concord Police Department Lt. Robert Garcia said.

When officers arrived, the suspects fled in different directions. Officers chased down all four teens and took them to the Contra Costa County Juvenile Hall.

The merchandise, valued at about $3,400, was recovered.

Pleasant Hill police were on alert in case the teens tried to flee in that direction, Garcia said.

Detectives are investigating whether the teens are connected to other recent high-value thefts from the same store over the past two weeks. Police are withholding the names of the teens because they are minors awaiting charges.
