Concord Traffic Alert: Galindo Street Construction

CONCORD, CA — There will be traffic impacts on Galindo Street this week for modular building construction at 1313 Galindo St., according to an alert from the city.

Through Wednesday, trucks are expected to deliver seven or eight modular units daily to the adjacent site to be craned onto the project site for placement. Trucks will enter and exit between Laguna Street and Cowell Road, with flaggers and support vehicles helping with traffic flow.

On Thursday, a crane will be demobilized at the site.

Traffic impacts will end at approximately 3:30 p.m. each day.

"If you are traveling in this area, please remember to watch the traffic movement and do not block the intersections," the city said.

No pedestrian facilities at the intersection will be impacted.
