How To Get Free Krispy Kreme Donuts For 1 Year In Contra Costa County

To celebrate its 85th birthday, the donut chain is giving away special birthday cards to 8,500 guests.

CONTRA COSTRA COUNTY, CA — The opportunity for Californians to snag free Krispy Kreme doughnuts every month for a year will arrive with the chain’s 85th birthday this month.

The chain will give out promotional birthday cards good for one dozen free Original Glazed Doughnuts per month for one year. Customers must be 18 years old to win the yearlong prize.

In Contra Costa County, locals can go to the Krispy Kreme location at 1991 Diamond Blvd. in Concord or 2530 Sand Creek Road in Brentwood from July 11-14 for a chance to be randomly selected.

Cards will be given to 8,500 guests each day during the four-day giveaway.

What’s more, on Friday, July 15, anyone will be able to buy an Original Glazed dozen for 85 cents with the purchase of a regularly priced dozen.

“We love celebrating Krispy Kreme’s birthday every year with our fans. But this year is special, we’re turning 85! So we’re going to have a weeklong celebration by giving 8,500 people a year’s worth of free Original Glazed doughnuts,” Dave Skena, a Krispy Kreme spokesperson, said in a statement. “And on Friday you can get a dozen Original Glazed doughnuts for just 85 cents when you buy any dozen.”
