Meals on Wheels Diablo Region will host a special free webinar entitled: Preventing Osteoporosis, Thursday, Feb. 29th at 3:00 PM.

Broken bones are no laughing matter, and it is a bigger concern as we age. If you’re over 50, it is likely your bones are becoming more brittle and you may even be developing osteoporosis. But there are ways to prevent the disease.
Meals on Wheels Diablo Region will host a special free webinar entitled: Preventing Osteoporosis, Thursday, Feb. 29th at 3:00 PM.
This informative presentation will feature Catherine Wang, MD, from One Medical who will discuss the causes of osteoporosis; Kathy Napoli RD, also of One Medical, who will share dietary recommendations to prevent the disease; and Carolyn Skipper, a Pilates instructor, who will speak about her own personal journey with osteoporosis and will share recommendations on how to strengthen your bones. There will also be opportunities to ask your own questions and get answers about this condition.
