CONCORD, CA — Police placed a Concord high school on lockdown Wednesday when a car believed to have people with a gun in it was found on the campus, a Concord police lieutenant said.

Officers with the Concord Police Department responded to reports of a suspicious gray sedan with the occupants reportedly brandishing a firearm near Ygnacio Valley High School and Oak Grove Middle School.

A responding officer found the car in the high school parking lot and conducted a high-risk traffic stop.
