Man Threatens Store Worker With Gun, Racial Slur: Concord Police

CONCORD, CA — A man who threatened a store employee with a gun and used a racial slur after the worker asked him to move his recreational vehicle was recently arrested, Concord police said.

The employee had requested the man relocate the vehicle from the private parking lot of a home improvement center, according to police, and the man entered the store with the gun and used the slur.

Officers found the RV in an industrial area and used an armored vehicle, drones and de-escalation tactics, police said in a social media post Thursday, adding the man eventually surrendered and was arrested on multiple charges. A gun was found in the RV, according to police.
