Man Tries (And Fails) To Pay His Towing Fees At A Police Station Using A Stolen Credit Card: BPD
Police arrested a man they say arrived at the police station to pay towing fees with a credit card belonging to someone else.
CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CA — A man was arrested last week after trying to pay his tow fees with a credit card inside the lobby of the Brentwood Police Department.
The problem, according to police, was that he was trying to pay using a credit card that didn’t belong to him.
Police said Adam Lew, a 36-year-old Pittsburg resident, walked into the Brentwood station about 11:30 a.m. Thursday to settle his towing fees.
