Meals On Wheels Diablo Region Launches '30 In 30' Campaign
Join the local organization's Monthly Giving Circle for as little as 33 cents a day to support seniors in your community.
Meals on Wheels Diablo Region (MOW Diablo Region) has announced the launch of its “30 in 30” campaign, aiming to add 30 new members to its Monthly Giving Circle within 30 days. For as little as 33 cents a day, or $10 a month, individuals can join this crucial initiative and make a meaningful impact on the lives of seniors in our community.
Coinciding with International Day of Charity on Sept. 5, this campaign is a timely reminder of how small acts of generosity can lead to significant change.
“This year, we are on track to deliver 800,000 meals, a dramatic increase from the 300,000 meals we delivered pre-pandemic,” said Sherry Nadworny, Director of Development and Community Relations. “The need for our services continues to grow, and our Monthly Giving Circle provides the steady funding necessary to meet this demand.”

In addition to meal delivery, MOW Diablo Region offers a range of supportive services designed to keep older adults nourished, safe, less isolated, and living independently with dignity. Programs such as Fall Prevention, Friendly Visitors, Callers & Helpers, and Care Management have seen significant growth, with some services expanding by as much as 300%.
