• Chanuka Celebration and 7th annual Grand Community Menorah Lighting in Concord Dec. 18 (contracostaherald.com) — A free community Chanukah celebration and the 7th annual Grand Community Menorah Lighting is coming to The Veranda on Diamond Blvd. in Concord this Thursday, Dec. 18 at 4:30 p.m. Residents can enjoy treats, kids’ crafts, live entertainment, raffles, and a festive menorah lighting hosted by Chabad of Concord, with local dignitaries expected to attend.
