Quake Rattles Easy Bay Overnight. Did you Feel It?

CONCORD, CA — A preliminary 2.6-magnitude earthquake jolted the East Bay early Thursday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The epicenter was in Concord, along the Concord Fault.

The tremblor happened at 3:50 a.m., according to the USGS.

People reported feeling the shaking across the East Bay — Concord, Walnut Creek, Pleasant Hill, Moraga, Martinez, as well as Oakland and San Jose — on the USGS “Did You Feel It?” page.

There are no reports of damage or injuries.
