Why do you believe the star student-athlete should be recognized?

My granddaughter is a great all-around teen. She commits to whatever she does. She works hard to excel in her sports, attending all practices and being a true team player. She also maintains good grades and is a good citizen volunteering both at school and in her local community. She is a positive influence on the people she meets and puts forth effort in everything she does. She is a joy to be around.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the star student-athlete?

I am honored and thankful that this future-forward young woman is part of my life.
