Veterans Day Ceremony Planned At Todos Santos Plaza In Concord
The city of Concord is sponsoring the event to be hosted by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1525.
CONCORD, CA — Community members are invited to join VFW Post 1525, its Auxiliary and the cities of Concord and Clayton this Veterans Day to honor all those who have served.
At 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 11, a Veterans Day ceremony will be held at Todos Santos Plaza in Concord.
It will honor Korean War veterans on the 75th anniversary of the end of the Korean War.

Special guest speaker U.S. Army veteran Jake Larson fought in the Battle of the Bulge in World War II and is the lone survivor of all units who landed on Omaha Beach on D-Day.
Attendees are asked to bring their own chairs.
