Woman, 57, Arrested In Fatal Bay Point Stabbing

CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CA — A 57-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of murder in connection to the fatal stabbing of a man in Bay Point.

The man died Thursday after being stabbed in a house on Solano Court in Bay Point northeast of Concord.

Muir Station deputy sheriffs arrived shortly after 11:30 a.m at the house, where they found the man bleeding from stab wounds. He died at a local hospital.

Authorities have not yet released the victim's name.

Deputies arrested 57-year-old Libelyn Utt of Bay Point. She was charged with murder and is being held without bail at the Martinez Detention Facility.

Detectives from the homicide unit are continuing the investigation.
