CCUSD Free and Reduced-Price Meals for the 2012-2013 School Year
The Culver City Unified School District releases its policy for providing free and reduced-priced meals for children served under the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program.

The following is a breakdown of household size and income criteria for children in the Culver City Unified School District eligible for free and reduced-price meals for both the School Breakfast Program and the National School Lunch Program.
The price of breakfast at all elementary schools is $1.75 and $2.00 at secondary school; Lunch prices are $2.75 at elementary schools and $3.00 at secondary schools.
According to a release issued by The Culver City Unified School District Food Services Department, household size and income criteria identified in the table below will be used to determine eligibility for free, reduced-price, or full-price meal benefits.

Children from households whose income is at or below the levels shown in the table are eligible for free or reduced-price meals. Children who receive CalFRESH, California Work Opportunity and Responsibility to Kids (CalWORKs), Kinship Guardianship Assistance Payments (Kin-GAP), or Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR) benefits are automatically eligible for free meals regardless of the income of the household in which they reside.
In addition, a foster care child who is the legal responsibility of the welfare agency or ward of the court is eligible to receive free meals regardless of income. Foster children may be on the same application as the other children in a family’s household, however the foster child’s eligibility is based on their “Personal Use Income.”

INCOME ELIGIBILITY GUIDELINES FOR FREE AND REDUCED-PRICE MEALS PROGRAM
Participants from households with incomes at or below the following levels may be eligible for free or reduced-price meals or free milk.
