Come Celebrate the Installation of Culver City’s First Bike Corral on Monday

The community is invited to join City officials for an informal gathering on the sidewalk next to the corral in front of the Conservatory for Coffee and Tea on Madison Avenue and Jean Place.

, the City converted a one-car parking space on Washington Boulevard between Madison Avenue and Jean Place into the City’s first bike corral at the end of July.

The corral, which is in front of the popular coffee shop the opposite , can house up to 10 bicycles.

To celebrate the installation the community is invited to join City elected officials and staff for an informal gathering on Mon. Aug. 27 at 10 a.m. on the sidewalk next to the corral, grab a cup of coffee or bite to eat at nearby businesses, and hear a few words from the City about its work to help make the City more bicycle-friendly.
