Crews Rescue Critically Injured Driver Trapped Under Big Rig
Firefighters saved a critically injured person trapped under a big rig Thursday night on the San Diego (405) Freeway.
CULVER CITY, CA — Rescue crews helped free a critically injured person who was trapped under a big rig on the northbound San Diego (405) Freeway Thursday night.
The collision involved a tanker and happened about 6:34 p.m. on the northbound San Diego (405) Freeway, near National Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department's Margaret Stewart.
The first arriving fire company was able to safely extricate the patient and is providing rapid treatment for the critically injured person," Stewart said.
