Culver City Free Public Theatre Kicks Off Saturday

Culver City Public Theatre (CCPT) opens its 14th season of free family friendly summer shows on Saturday in Dr. Paul Carlson Park at noon with an adaptation of Homer’s The Odyssey.

The piece has been written and directed by Blake Anthony Edwards for CCPT’s Children’s Popcorn Theatre.

At 2 p.m. there will be a presentation of   an adaptation of Carlo Goldoni’s A Servant to Two Masters, directed by Ron Geren.

The third production in the series is an adaptation of Thornton Wilder’s The Matchmaker, directed by Alex Wells. Dr. Paul Carlson Memorial Park.

The performances are made possible in part by the Culver City Performing Arts Grant Program with support from Sony Pictures Entertainment as well as the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors through the Los Angeles County Arts Commission

All shows are free, open to the public and will take place at Dr. Paul Carlson Memorial Park (cnr. Motor and Braddock), 10420 Parke Ave., 90232.
