Culver City Resident Arrested on Burglary Charges
A lengthy investigation by the Beverly Hills Police Department leads to locating a suspect in a string of thefts from vehicles.

The Beverly Hills Police Department arrested Culver City resident Thomas Gardner on Wednesday in connection with a recent string of vehicle burglaries committed in Beverly Hills.
Gardner was taken into custody and is being held in the Beverly Hills Jail on $1 million bail, a news release from the city of Beverly Hills stated.
Beverly Hills police reports show a dramatic increase in car burglaries over the past six weeks, with four occurring on Monday alone. The burglarized vehicles had broken windows, and the items reported stolen included electronic devices, sporting goods, purses, wallets, credit cards, driver's licenses and checkbooks.

BHPD detectives identified Gardner as the suspect in the majority of these cases and obtained a warrant for his arrest, as well as a search warrant for a home on the 5600 block of Windsor Way in Culver City, the Beverly Hills news release said.
The BHPD reported that Gardner was arrested without incident. When taken into custody, he was still in possession of property taken during the most recent car burglaries, according to the BHPD.
