Culver City Senior Center to Offer Free 6-Weeks Healthier Living Course

The program, offered through WISE & Health Aging, is designed for older adults who are living with a chronic condition.

CULVER CITY, CA -- A local elderly healthy and wellness company is working with the Culver City Senior Center to bring a Healthier Living program to the city, the company announced Thursday.

WISE & Health Aging's program is especially helpful for older adults who are living with a chronic condition, such as arthritis, high blood pressure, diabetes, or other long-term health concerns, the Santa Monica-based company said.

The course is set to begin at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2017.

Over the course of six weeks, participants share ways to get better sleep, manage symptoms, eat better, stay active, feel better, and generally get more out of life.

WISE & Healthy Aging will be sponsoring this innovative program at the Culver City Veteran’s Memorial Building Kaizuka Room, 4117 Overland Ave.

The program is open to people who have a chronic condition or are living with someone who is and is offered as a free community service.

Space is limited to the first 15 people so advanced reservation is required.
