Culver City High Visits Raytheon for Engineers Week
The Culver City High School robotics team was invited to technology company Raytheon for Engineers Week.
The Culver City High School robotics team was among students from 20 to 25 high schools invited to technology company Raytheon's El Segundo facility Wednesday for Engineers Week.
Raytheon employees staged a skit, asking students to create an alternative fuel source for Iron Man's propulsion system. The students were tasked with building an ion lift out of various materials provided by Raytheon.
After the engineer game, students were taken on a tour of several labs in the facility. Members of the press were not permitted to accompany students on the tour.
