Fire Breaks Out At Beverlywood Apartment Building

LOS ANGELES, CA — It took 41 firefighters 24 minutes to extinguish a blaze that broke out at an apartment building in Beverlywood Tuesday afternoon.

The fire was reported before 11 a.m. on the 9100 block of Cattaraugus Avenue, near Robertson Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Firefighters managed to confine the fire to one room crammed with stored items, the LAFD said.

No injuries were reported and the cause is under investigation.
