Letter To The Editor: Scott Zeidman Endorsement

"Under Scott's leadership, the district was able to navigate said crisis while maintaining the high standards of a CCUSD education."

To the editor,

The undersigned, all former employees of the Culver City Police Department wish to extend our support for Scott Zeidman for a seat on the Culver City Unified School District Board of Education. A lifelong member of the Culver City community, Scott has repeatedly displayed his love for this city, and he will continue to act in its best interest as a member of the Board of Education.

In Scott’s previous stint as a member of the school board, the Board was faced with an unprecedented economic crisis. Under Scott’s leadership, the district was able to navigate said crisis while maintaining the high standards of a CCUSD education.

Scott’s steadfast dedication to Culver City and its youth is evident in his active participation and Board Membership in the numerous organizations aimed to serve the Culver City community, most notably, Culver City Little League, the Culver Palms YMCA, the Culver City High School Boosters, and his three terms as an appointed Commissioner on the Culver City Parks, Recreation and Community Services Commission.

As former members of law enforcement, it is important to us that our community is kept safe from any type harm, and Scott’s commitment to safety in our schools extends that belief to our community’s most vulnerable. We believe that it is in the best interest of CCUSD students to have a School Resource Officer on campus to preserve their safety, and we wholeheartedly believe that Scott Zeidman is the best choice for a seat on the Culver City Unified School District Board of Education.
