Man Busted For Guns, Drugs At Culver City Traffic Stop: Police

Police said the man was transporting drugs and there was evidence of drug sales.

CULVER CITY, CA -- A man was arrested in Culver City on Friday for allegedly carrying an assault rifle and transporting drugs during a traffic stop, police said.

A patrol officer pulled the man over for a vehicle code violation and subsequently had the man exit the vehicle, that was when the officer spotted a man gun in the man's waistband, according to the Culver City Police Department.

A subsequent search of the car revealed a loaded M4 assault rifle on the rear floorboard of the car, a "significant amount" of drugs and evidence of drug sales, police said.

The man was taken into custody and the guns and drugs were confiscated, police said.
