Man Dies In Hit-And-Run Crash, Driver Sought In Culver City
The victim was hit by a car while crossing the street and died at the scene.
CULVER CITY, CA — Authorities asked for the public's help Tuesday to find a hit-and-run motorist responsible for the death of a pedestrian in Culver City over the weekend.
The pedestrian, a man, was injured about 1:45 a.m. Sunday on Washington Place near Frances Avenue and died at the scene, according to the Culver City Police Department. His name was withheld, pending notification of his relatives.
"Our officers learned that the victim had been struck by a vehicle while crossing the street, and that the suspect had fled the location following the collision," Culver City police said in a statement.
