Man Found Shot Dead At Westside Park, Police Say

CULVER CITY, CA — A man was found shot dead Thursday morning at a park in the Culver City neighborhood, authorities said.

Someone found the body at Media Park in the 9000 block of Venice Boulevard, near Culver Boulevard, about 5:40 a.m. Thursday, the Los Angeles and Culver City police departments report.

The victim's name was withheld pending notification of family.

Police did not report any arrests. No suspect information was immediately available.

It's unclear what happened. An investigation is underway.
