Police Ask Public To Identify El Pollo Loco Burglary Suspect

Culver City police asked the public to help identify a suspect who broke into an El Pollo Loco earlier this month.

CULVER CITY, CA — Culver City police are sharing video footage and asking the public to help identify a suspect who broke into an El Pollo Loco earlier this month and attempted to burglarize the location.

The suspect smashed the window about 4:20 a.m. Feb. 1 at 12860 Washington Blvd., near Beethoven Street, police said. He entered the building carrying what appears to be a handgun, attempting to break inside the manager's office.

"The suspect is believed to be responsible for breaking multiple glass doors of nearby businesses," police said in a statement.

No suspect description was immediately available. The video shows he's a man wearing a hoodie.

Anyone with information on the crime was urged to call Culver City Police Department at 310-253-6306.
