Police Search For Hot Prowl Suspect At UCLA Students' Apartment
Police are looking for an attempted burglary suspect who tried breaking into UCLA students' off-campus apartments in Culver City.
CULVER CITY, CA — Police are looking for an attempted burglary suspect who tried breaking into UCLA students' off-campus apartments in Culver City Thursday.
The hot prowl was reported at about 8:50 a.m. Thursday and again at noon, according to UCLA Police Department.
A victim reported that an unknown suspect attempted to enter their residence through their balcony door sometime between 10 p.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday, police said. The victim found their balcony screen door ajar.

A second victim reported a similar incident happened on their balcony sometime between 1 a.m. Wednesday and 11 a.m. Thursday in the same building, police said.
Both residences were occupied at the time of the attempted burglary, police said. No injuries were reported.
