Police Seek 2 In Culver City Handgun Theft

CULVER CITY, CA — Authorities Monday sought public help to identify and track down four suspects accused of stealing two guns from a business in Culver City.

The burglary occurred about 5:15 p.m. May 31 at a business in the 5700 block of Uplander Way, near Hannum Avenue, according to the Culver City Police Department. The type of business was not immediately available.

PRESS RELEASE Detectives are seeking public assistance in identifying the suspects involved in this crime. On May 31st, 2020, at approximately 1715 hours, a commercial burglary occurred in the 5700 block of Uplander Way. The four suspects depicted in the attached video, approached the business on foot and utilized a metal object to smash the front window. After smashing the window, all four suspects entered the business and stole property, including two handguns. After committing the burglary, the suspects fled on foot in an unknown direction. The suspects smashed a window with a metal object to enter the business. They ran away in an unknown direction after the robbery, according to police.

Authorities circulated surveillance video of the four suspects and encouraged anyone with information about them to contact the Culver City Police Department's Detective Bureau at 310-253-6300.
