At-Risk Senior Goes Missing From Playa Vista

LOS ANGELES, CA — Authorities on Monday asked for the public's help locating an at-risk 63-year-old man last seen in the Playa Vista area.

Rwechungula Anyabwile was last seen at around 6:40 p.m. June 22 near West Jefferson Boulevard and Playa Vista Drive, according to the California Highway Patrol, which activated a Silver Alert on behalf of the Los Angeles Police Department.

Anyabwile is described as a 6-foot-1 man weighing 195 pounds with a bald head and brown eyes.

Police believe Anyabwile is traveling in a black 2017 Hyundai Sonata with California license plate 8AFS079.

Anyone with information about Anyabwile's whereabouts is urged to contact 911.
