Showers and Thunderstorm Possible This Afternoon

Temperatures will by cool and breezy with a 90 percent chance of precipitation.

The National Weather Service says rain, thunderstorms and maybe even hail are in the forecast for Monday, but the sunshine shoud be back Tuesday.

The Weather Service forecast through Thursday night:


This Afternoon: Showers and possibly a thunderstorm before 4 p.m., then scattered showers and thunderstorms after 4 p.m. Some of the storms could produce small hail. High near 58. Breezy, with a west wind around 25 mph, with gusts as high as 35 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%.

Tonight: Scattered showers before 10 p.m. Partly cloudy, with a low around 43. Breezy, with a west northwest wind 15 to 20 mph decreasing to between 5 and 10 mph. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%.

Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 59. Calm wind becoming southwest between 5 and 10 mph.

Tuesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 43. Southwest wind between 5 and 10 mph becoming calm.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 59. South southeast wind 5 to 10 mph becoming west southwest.

Wednesday Night: A 20 percent chance of showers. Partly cloudy, with a low around 44.

Thursday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 63.

Thursday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 46.
