Suspected Killer of Inglewood Man Sought
A man was found shot to death behind an Inglewood apartment Wednesday night.

INGLEWOOD, CA - The killer of a 28-year-old man found dead in the rear of an apartment building in Inglewood remained at large Thursday, and police asked anyone with information about the shooting to come forward.
The victim was identified as Inglewood resident Delaney James Dokins, according to Inglewood police Lt. Mark Fried.
Officers dispatched at 9:55 p.m. Wednesday to the rear of 3200 W. 99th St. found Dokins, who had been shot several times, Fried said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Witnesses told officers that a suspect approached Dokins on foot and fired several shots, he said.
Inglewood homicide detectives asked anyone with any information regarding the shooting death to call them at (310) 412-5246.
