Van Leeuwen started in 2008 with a scoop truck in Brooklyn. The company now has locations from coast to coast, including New York, New Jersey, and Texas, with plans to grow in Philadelphia, too. You can find pints and products at grocery stores and the company still has the scoop trucks. In Los Angeles, brick-and-mortar locations are in Culver City at the Platform, The Point at El Segundo, Silverlake, the Arts District and Franklin Village.
The company's artisan flavors have grown even more popular with its Kraft Macaroni & Cheese ice cream flavor selling out in the Culver City store in hours, the Culver City store manager told Patch.
