26 County Restaurants Flunk 2016 Health Inspections

SANTA CLARA COUNTY - Vermin infestation, no running water, sewage issues. The list of reasons why restaurants are closed by the Santa Clara County Health Department is stomach churning.

Since the start of the year, 26 Santa Clara County restaurants have been shuttered, including 13 in San Jose and six in Santa Clara.

Other county restaurants closed were located in Campbell, Cupertino, Palo Alto, Los Gatos, Sunnyvale and Morgan Hill. Most of these restaurants reopen within a few days after correcting the violations.
