4 Buildings In Cupertino Evacuated After Gas Leak: Fire Dept.

Southbound De Anza Boulevard was closed between Mariani Avenue and Stevens Creek Boulevard.

CUPERTINO, CA — Four office buildings in Cupertino were evacuated Thursday afternoon following a gas leak on De Anza Boulevard, according to the Santa Clara County Fire Department.

Southbound De Anza Boulevard was closed between Mariani Avenue and Stevens Creek Boulevard, the department tweeted before 4:30 p.m.

There was no estimated time that the leak will be fixed, the department said. The public was asked to avoid the area.
