Updated: Missing Teen At Risk Is Located

Radwan Hamwi had last been seen around 3:45 a.m. Tuesday leaving his Cupertino home. He was found safe today about 12:50 p.m.

UPDATE 1:00PM-

An 18-year-old man missing since early Tuesday morning out of Cupertino and considered at-risk was found safe today, Santa Clara County sheriff’s officials said.

Radwan Hamwi had last been seen around 3:45 a.m. Tuesday leaving his Cupertino home on foot at Vernie Court and Bollinger Road, about a half-mile west of South De Anza Boulevard, sheriff’s Lt. Robert Durr said.

Approximately 12:50 p.m., Hamwi was found safe in the Cupertino area, Sheriff’s Sgt. James Jensen said.

CUPERTINO - The Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in locating a missing 18-year-old man considered at-risk, according to a tweet posted this morning by the city of Cupertino.

Radwan Hamwi is described as a man standing about 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing 185 pounds with short black hair and brown eyes, according to the city. Anyone with information on Hamwi’s whereabouts is asked to call 911.
