Cupertino High Schools Rank Among Best In California: Niche
Homestead and Cupertino High School were ranked among the top 50 public high schools in California.

CUPERTINO, CA — Two Cupertino high schools were ranked among the best public high schools in California, according to new rankings from Niche.com. Homestead High School was ranked 35th statewide, and Cupertino High School was ranked 39th.
Niche's 2022 rankings factored in academic and student life data from thousands of schools across the country. The most important factor was academics, but Niche also looked at culture and diversity, teachers, clubs and activities, sports and more. You can read more about Niche's methodology here.
The top-ranked public high school in the country was The Davidson Academy, located in Reno, Nevada. Eleven Silicon Valley schools earned top spots as well:
- Henry Gunn High School, Palo Alto (1st in state)
- Saratoga High School, Saratoga (3rd in state)
- Palo Alto High School, Palo Alto (5th)
- Lynbrook High School, San Jose (12th)
- Los Altos High School, Los Altos (14th)
- Mountain View High School, Mountain View (19th)
- Homestead High School, Cupertino (35th)
- Aragon High School, San Mateo (38th)
- Cupertino High School, Cupertino (39th)
- Mills High School, Millbrae (40th)
- Los Gatos High School, Los Gatos (47th)
