Police Arrest 2 Adults, 3 Juveniles For Gang-Motivated Vandalism
Five people were recently arrested in San Jose for what police are calling gang-motivated vandalism.
SAN JOSE, CA — San Jose police arrested five individuals, including three juveniles, in connection with two separate gang-motivated vandalism cases, the police department announced Friday morning.
Police arrested Donner Sosa and Michael Reyes, both 18, along with two juvenile males on May 1 for a vandalism and theft incident at Nisich Park on the evening of January 6.
Detectives discovered through open source that the four suspects allegedly used a handheld saw to cut down a park sign while shouting gang-related threats before stealing the sign.

The adult suspects were booked into Santa Clara County Main Jail, and the juveniles were booked at Santa Clara County Juvenile Hall on suspicion of gang-motivated vandalism and grand theft.
In a separate case, police arrested a 17-year-old male on May 3 for a string of vandalism incidents tagged with the moniker "GIZMO" between April 4 and April 22. The incidents were reported by residents through the city's 3-1-1 app and during community meetings.

A probation search of his vehicle revealed various gang-related materials and evidence of the graffiti crimes. He was booked into Santa Clara County Juvenile Hall for gang-motivated vandalism.
